KidGrowth — Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 April 2026
Welcome
Welcome to KidGrowth (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users and their children.
1. Information we collect
The App follows a "privacy-first" approach:
Local storage (default): all measurement data (height, weight, dates of birth, and names) is stored by default only on your personal device (using an encrypted SQLite database).
Cloud account (optional): if you choose to sign up for our cloud services (via Supabase), information is synced to secure servers to enable backup and family sharing.
Purchase data: we use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions. This includes your subscription status and does not include card details (handled by Apple/Google).
2. How we use information
To display growth charts aligned with WHO standards.
To sync data between devices (for signed-in users only).
To improve the App using aggregated, non-identifying analytics.
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal or medical information. We use the following providers to operate the App:
Supabase: cloud data storage (for signed-in users).
RevenueCat: subscription entitlements.
Expo/EAS: technical operations and app updates.
4. Security
We apply security measures including:
Row Level Security (RLS): helping ensure only you (and family members you explicitly invite) can access your children’s server-side data.
Encryption: communication between the App and servers uses SSL/TLS.
5. Your control and deletion
You can delete all local data by uninstalling the App.
Signed-in users can permanently delete their account and related information from the in-app Settings screen.
